Here are the tips to write a short story on your own.

Add a title related to mercy. 

1. Create your own characters. 

2. Select their names and roles in your story.

3. Select a city or village

4. Specify the characteristics of the characters. 

5. Start your story with happy news. Ex: The family lived very happily.

6. Then add an emotional mood to your story. Ex: The family becomes very poor. Or if you're saying about the village in the story say about the drought it faced. Ex: The village was very green but now it's facing a great drought. 

7. Then say the situation of the people who live in the village. 

8. Then a rich man helped the people by giving them free food and water.

9. The village people all have thanked him.

10. Conclude with a moral.
